Welcome
Happy Valley Disc Golf (HVDG) is committed to gathering support and funding for the
installation of a permanently installed course in the Centre Region. We also
coordinate outreach for the sport of disc golf, organize matches and tournaments,
and foster communication between players in the area.
Disc golf has been played in one way or another around State College for
a long time. There are stories of object courses and impromptu matches
that date back to the late 1970s. The game of disc golf has been a recreational
past-time for the well-established, ultimate frisbee club members of
the Centre region and Happy Valley Disc Golf grew as an off-shoot of that
community of players. For more information about our club and how to
join contact Micah Willy. There are many additions to our
club operations that you'll be seeing here soon. Check back often.

May 10, 2007
Construction on the nine-hole course at Circleville Park will be getting started soon! Holes 1 through 3 will become unavailable starting in mid to late
May for park construction and installation of the full nine-hole course. Please be patient and stay off of the course when you start to see
construction vehicles.

Courses
Here is a listing of all of the courses that are near the Happy Valley area. These are a mixture of pole-hole
and object courses. Please be careful when choosing locations for object courses as many people view shooting at
landmarks, trees, or other facilities as harmful to those structures. Never pick small trees,
monuments, or any other objects that may sustain damage or would be deemed inappropriate due to
sentimental reasons as targets for hole. Also, be respectful of others using park facilities
and paths when throwing. If we intend to promote our sport and show others how fun it can be, we must also
show a good example and make it a safe activity.
